She:kon from the ancestral lands of the Kanien'kehá:ka
The WaterfallUnityAlliance would like to wish you a happy Spring! The energy of the Spring equinox and the new moon are upon us. The warm seasons have begun and as the remnants of this Winter season comes to a close, the Waterfall Unity Alliance is calling for volunteers! Visit our Facebook page and check out our flyer for more information.
To the incoming volunteers:
Your time, presence and support is valuable and we say niawenhkó:wa (a big thank you) to each and every one of you. It is because of you that the Kanien'kehá:ka Return to Ancestral Homelands Movement can continue on. Join us at the farm and we will share our gratitude in the form of a meal.
Send us your name, availability and phone number and we will respond promptly.
The energy of new beginnings is in the air for the WaterfallUnityAlliance and we are seeking a title for the berry farm. We are hosting a name contest in which the winner will receive free admission to the berry farm, as well as free camping by the Waterfall all summer long. Send us as many submissions as you’d like via email or comment on our Facebook & Instagram posts. Help us in this manifestation and share this flyer to your social media platforms!
Note: Here at WaterfallUnityAlliance, "youth" means anywhere up to age ~25.
The WaterfallUnityAlliance is in the midst of great transformation as we embark on new beginnings. One of our most recent changes has been adding new members to our team. This week, we would like to introduce one of our newest additions: Liv Bigtree, Director of Communications for the WaterfallUnityAlliance. Liv “Watyana'li:yo” Bigtree is Onyota’a:ká (Oneida), Turtle Clan. Her Onkwehón:we (Original) name, “Watyana'li:yo,” translates to “She puts down a good track.”
Liv Bigtree, 20, was raised in the Onondaga Nation. A multidimensional artist, she has a diverse background in visual arts. Now residing in Mohawk Valley, she looks forward to contributing to the Kanien'kehá:ka Return to Ancestral Homelands Movement, where she believes her people will prosper. Passionate about her spirituality and growth, she is excited to be joining the WaterfallUnityAlliance team! To learn more about our newest members, keep an eye out for incoming social media posts and updates on our website.
