This weekend, we would like to extend an invitation for volunteers to come to the farm. We are in need of some assistance with weeding to ensure our fruit can bloom this year. Though volunteers are always welcome, we’d like to extend a special invitation for you all to come this weekend where we will share a meal with you. This week, our newsletter is sending out later than usual. In the heart of Skóhare, we had some beautiful weather and spent the day with our Mother Earth. Beginning our day of work, we got our hands dirty in the greenhouses. With our teachings in mind, seeds were planted physically and energetically. As we move further along our first official blooming season with the farm, we are making herstory by actively rematriating Onkwehonwe homelands.

Last week, we announced the official name of the berry farm. However, we had a typo. Katsi'tsièn:tha is the daughter of Iotsi’tsison (Sky Woman). In some versions of our Creation Story, the first strawberries to grow upon Turtle Island bloomed from Katsi’tsièn:thas heart after she transitioned over. Though typos are not fun when making announcements, it’s beautiful that we have the opportunity to acknowledge Katsi’tsièn:tha. We look forward to seeing you at Iosti’tsisons Forever Farm.
